How to Convert Microsoft Office 2010 Trial Version to Full Version

Converting from Microsoft Office 2010 Trial:

You can convert Microsoft Office 2010 trial software to a full version either after your trial period ends or before.

You can convert to the full version in two ways:

Option 1. First open any of the expiration reminder messages and click Upgrade and then follow the steps below.

Option 2. At any time during the trial period or after the trial has expired you can open any of the Microsoft Office System products then click the File Tab>Help. Next to the name of trial product is a button labeled either “Purchase Product” or “Licensing Operations”. Clicking “Licensing Operations” pulls down a menu with an option to ‘Purchase Product’. 

Process:
Follow to convert your Microsoft Office System trial product to full use with no uninstall or reinstall necessary.

STEP 1: GET PRODUCT KEY AND START CONVERSION PROCESS

Obtain full Microsoft Office product online or at any retailer

       

     Option 1: Click Upgrade in any of the Microsoft Office trial expiration reminder messages.          
      

     Option 2: Click the File Tab then click Help. Next to the trial product name is a button either “Licensing Operations” or “Purchase Product”. Clicking “Licensing Operations” pulls down a to ‘Purchase Product’.

 
STEP 2: CONVERT YOUR TRIAL THROUGH SET-UP WIZARD OR OFFICE ANYTIME UPGRADE

From Option 1 or Option 2 above, will guide you through the process of converting from the trial to your full Microsoft Office. The user experience – Office Anytime Upgrade or Set-up Wizard– will be launched based upon the particular trial product you have selected to convert.

In the Setup dialog box, click Enter Product Key if you have purchased a full product key from a retailer or click Buy Online Key if you do not have a full product key and would like to purchase it online.

STEP 3: ENTER THE OFFICE PRODUCT KEY

Visit www.office.com/setup and enter your 25-character Product Key of the full product obtained at a retail store or online then click Get Started to set up your account and install Office.

STEP 4: ACCEPT MICROSOFT SOFTWARE LICENSE TERMS

You will then see the MSLT (Microsoft Software License Terms). Accept this to use the software by selecting this "I accept the terms in the License Agreement" and click Next.

STEP 5: ACTIVATE PRODUCT

you may be prompted to activate it, after launching the full product for the first time,  Once that is done, the trial is converted to full version use with no uninstall or reinstall necessary.
